Isabella Rosalie was born in 1966 in Bristol Pennsylvania. She attended public school in Lawrenceville NJ, cosmetology school in East Windsor NJ, and the Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Academy in Emmaus PA where she studied holistic healing modalities & the body/mind connection under Bonita Cassel & Kathleen Sterner.In high school Bella always excelled in art class, but she never obtained formal training. In 1997 she began to draw and paint for fun; within a year her work began to sell and she started taking equine commissions.
Bella married her high school sweetheart in 1988 and shortly there after they started a family. In 2004 they relocated to Deer Lodge Montana where Bella worked as the owner of the massage & bodywork practice, the Earth Element. For 2 years after relocating to the Rocky Mountains, Bella continued to provide holistic healthcare to a large list of clients. Due to unsettling feeling about the course her life had taken since leaving PA, she closed her business in ’06 in order to re-assess her life and the direction she wanted it to take.
In late 2007, with the support of her husband, and two sons, Bella returned to the art world. She re-entered the art scene with gradual steps which included her signature graphite & charcoal pencil equine images. Gradually, after getting the feel for the pencils again, she began to include color to her work using colored pencils & pastels.
Currently Bella is a member of the Equine Art Guild and avid supporter of the ASPCA.
